Privacy Policy

1. The Perify App

The symptoms, cycle entries, MRS check-ins, medications, and profile details you log in the Perify iOS app are stored on your device using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). We — the people who make Perify — never receive a copy of this data, because by default it never leaves your phone. There is no account to create and no server involved.

2. Optional iCloud Backup & Sync

If you turn on Backup & Sync in Settings, Perify uses Sign in with Apple and Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to keep a copy of your data — so you can restore it on a new phone or use Perify on more than one device signed into the same iCloud account.

That copy is stored in your own private iCloud database, under your Apple ID. It is encrypted and managed entirely by Apple's infrastructure under Apple's own privacy terms. We do not run a server that receives, stores, or has access to this data — we cannot see it, and neither can anyone else browsing iCloud. Turning this feature off in Settings stops new data from syncing; deleting it from Settings removes the iCloud copy as well.

This feature is off by default. Using Perify without it means nothing about your symptoms ever leaves your device.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Perify Pro is sold through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple handles the checkout, stores your payment details, and manages your subscription and billing history — we never see or receive your card number or other payment information. Apple shares only the entitlement status (whether you have an active subscription) with the app on your device.

4. The Website

This website (the pages you're reading now, and the free MRS calculator) doesn't ask you to register or sign in, and doesn't store anything you type. The MRS calculator runs entirely in your browser — your answers are never sent anywhere. We only receive standard web server logs (e.g. IP address, browser user agent) automatically generated by visiting any website, used solely for security and abuse prevention, and not linked to your identity.

5. No AI Processing, No Analytics, No Ads

Perify does not send your symptom data to any AI model or third-party processor. We do not run analytics or advertising SDKs inside the app, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone. There is nothing to monetize here except the optional Pro subscription itself.

6. Your Rights & Deleting Your Data

Because your data lives on your device (and, optionally, in your own iCloud account), you are always in control:

• Export or delete any entry directly in the app, any time.
• Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on that device.
• If iCloud backup is on, turning it off and deleting the backup in Settings removes your data from iCloud.
• Cancel your Pro subscription any time through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Because we never hold a copy of your health data ourselves, we have nothing to send you, correct, or delete on our end — the controls above are the complete picture. If you have a question about any of this, email us at the address in Section 11.

7. Data Security

Your data's security is, for the most part, Apple's job: on-device storage is sandboxed by iOS, and optional iCloud backup is encrypted by Apple's own infrastructure. This website uses HTTPS for all traffic. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but there is very little for anyone to intercept in the first place.

8. Cookies

This website uses only the minimal session cookie that any website built on our web framework sets automatically, to protect page submissions against cross-site request forgery. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing optional to consent to.

9. Children's Privacy

Perify is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we change how Perify handles your data — for example, if we ever introduce analytics or a new sync option — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above first.
